Workshop Description:

Proactive outreach is a cornerstone of effective academic advising, and Navigate campaigns provide advisors with a powerful tool for engaging students at scale while maintaining a personalized approach. This hands-on workshop introduces advisors to the use of campaigns within the Navigate platform to support caseload management, streamline communication, and promote timely student interventions. Participants will learn how to create, launch, monitor, and assess campaigns aligned with advising goals, institutional initiatives, and key points in the student lifecycle. By the end of the session, advisors will be prepared to use Navigate campaigns strategically to increase student engagement and support student success.

NACADA Core Competency alignment:

  • I5: Characteristics, needs, and experiences of major and emerging student populations.
  • I6: Campus and community resources that support student success.
  • I7: Information technology applicable to relevant advising roles.
