Workshop Description:

Effective academic advising depends on strong partnerships across the institution. This interactive panel brings together representatives from key campus offices to highlight the services, programs, and resources they provide to support student success. Panelists will discuss how their offices collaborate with academic advisors, share best practices for making effective referrals, and provide insight into common student concerns and available support. Advisors will have the opportunity to ask questions, strengthen cross-campus relationships, and gain a deeper understanding of how coordinated care enhances the student experience.

NACADA Core Competency alignment:

  • I5: Characteristics, needs, and experiences of major and emerging student populations.
  • I6: Campus and community resources that support student success.
