BRAGG room 151 has not been updated in decades. This classroom has fixed concrete risers with long tables. The set up is inflexible for classroom instruction and limits mobility throughout the room. Students with disabilities have nowhere to sit and cannot interact with their peers. The technology is out of date. Because of these reasons, the room sorely needs to be renovated. Specifically, we'd like to flatten the concrete risers in BRAGG 151 to make the room more accessible and flexible. The room will then mirror the other two classrooms in that hallway (BRAGG 149 and 150), except that we won't be adding computers for student use. We would also like to do the Classroom Technology Upgrade. If we renovate this room to make it much more functional, it will get used. All of our conceptual classes could be scheduled in this room (over a dozen courses).
