Highlights
Don Carr is a 32-year award-winning veteran
of broadcast television, internet webcasting,
in-arena and touring production, and
corporate video, graduating in 1995 as a
Mass Communications major in video and
film. While at MTSU, Carr was the first
entertainment feature writer for the school
newspaper Sidelines. He has won Midsouth
Regional Emmys in 1998, 2016, and 2020,
and five Telly Awards for his directing work.
From 1993 to the present, Carr worked with
such prestigious clients as Tennessee Titans,
Nashville Predators, SEC football and basketball, Major League Soccer, Grand Ole
Opry Live, PBS, MTV, CMT (Country Music Television), SONY, BET, Fox Sports,
Amazon Live, Gospel Music Television, CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox Network,
CNBC, TNN, House of Blues, Warner Bros., America’s Voice presidential
campaign coverage 2000, Dove Awards, Farm Aid, AXSTV, Sports Illustrated Live,
Woodstock ’99, Lollapalooza, Americana Music Awards, ACM Honors, Bonnaroo,
Hangout Festival, Musicians Hall of Fame, CMA Red Carpet, and more. He has
directed live concerts and DVDs for Iron Maiden, Hans Zimmer, Megadeth, Hardy
& Nickelback, Post Malone, Ringo Starr, Ken Burns, Garth Brooks, Johnny Cash,
The Mavericks, Barbra Streisand, Richard Marx, Tori Amos, Peter Frampton, and
